Starting August 1st, 2012, FujifilmUSA intends to raise prices about 20% on all black and white, color negative, and color slide films. One-time use (disposable) cameras will increase about 15% in price.
According to Fujifilm, these increases are due to multiple issues: decline in demand, higher costs of production, and higher costs of raw materials.
